Visiting The Capital Building In Cheyenne, Wyoming
dot

August 2, 2006

Yesterday was a long drive from the Grand Tetons National Forest to Cheyenne, the capital of Wyoming. Yesterday was also August 1st and the day Adam and Lucas began their homeschool school year. Needless to say they were not excited about that.

We arrived in Cheyenne late in the afternoon and found the Walmart just a few miles from the capital building. We did some grocery shopping there and stayed the night there.

This morning we drove the Blazer over to the capital for a tour. We picked up the self-guided tour brochure and Cricket read it to us as we walked around. Within 45 minutes we were done and headed back to the motorhome.

I hooked the Blazer back up to the motorhome and headed south down I-25 towards Denver, Colorado. Here we are camped at the Chatfield State Park in Littleton, Colorado. We have some friends who moved here from Florida about seven years ago and it will be good to spend some time with them.

Thanks for stopping by,
Mark
